Awesome Revival

We had an awesome revival at North Lenoir Church of God!!! Many souls were touched and blessed! I am so very thankful to God for the move of the Holy Ghost in the services and for the anointed word of God! Of course, this is just an addition to the already awesome revival that our church has been experiencing!

Praise God for his mercy and miracles!!!!

I just want to thank God again for his healing and mercy!!! We must always praise him and give him the glory due him!!! Most of you know that I sent out an urgent prayer request for Kimberly Hoke....and you seen the update, well I have another update! God has had mercy on her life and soul! Her and the baby went home!!! Both are doing GREAT!

God is so good to me....

God is just sooo good to me. Do you find that true with your life too? Mom had a great report from her heart cath...no problems and her heart looked good! Thanks to God for working miracles in our lives!

GREAT NEWS!!! My aunts pathology report was good!! No cancer cells found in her lymph nodes, which is an excellent indicator that the cancer has NOT spread!!!! Of course, I expected no less from my GOD!! He came through for us and I thank him for that! In addition, my pastor's mother's pathology report was the same!!! How GREAT is our GOD?!?!?!?!!! God still answers prayer!!! Please continue to praise him for these miracles!!!

A whirlwind of events

Well, we sure have been through a whirlwind of trials in the past month! God has really helped and guided us. Its funny, you know that there are "preachers" who are not really what they say they are, because the word of God tells us so(sheeps in wolves clothing is the scripture God keeps giving me), but when you come face to face with it, well, it is so disappointing and hurtful. Especially if you are a minister in the church...because this "preacher" causes hurt to the ministry of God for others. However, through much prayer, God heals and moves you forward....and just because someone else is not who they claim to be does NOT mean we are not supposed to be all that God wants US to be in our callings. And we take what God brings us through....and learn from it.

We are looking to be able to maybe move into a position in a church in another state....we are just waiting for God's guidance. I know that God will bring his will to pass in our lives...we just have to be patient and wait on God. There are a lot of opportunties that have presented themselves to us, know we just need God to shut the doors that are not meant for us.

Another Miracle of Grace!

I must testify. My cousin passed away Saturday Aug. 2, at 5:15pm. I was blessed with the opportunity of getting to talk and pray with my cousin on Friday night at 8:30 before his second surgery. I ask him if he had prayed yet as I held his hand in mine, my main concern being his soul first, then his health. He told me that he had not prayed yet. I did not feel like he knew what I was asking him, so I ask him straight out, "Terry, is your heart right with God?" He replied, "yes, I rededicated my heart to God last week. I had a feeling that something was not right, something told me to get things straight with God, so I did." I ask him, "do you want me to pray with you?" He said, "yes, and said, would you, I am not very good at these things." His eyes spoke to my heart that he knew something was going on. So, we prayed. I felt the presence of God so strong in that room and a great peace came over me. I kissed his forehead and told him to think on God and that he was in God's hands. That was the last time I spoke to him.

My comfort in his death comes from God, especially knowing how merciful God was to him, and knowing that God came to him in Gods great mercy and gave him the opportunity to make things right. How great is our God!!!!!!!!!! I praise him for his great love and mercy. That brings me great peace and joy. Thank you God!

God worked a miracle!!!!

My husband and I had a situation where we needed a miracle that day! I called a few people, one of which was a couple and they prayed with me over the phone. Well, that evening, God moved and a miracle came through! I thank and praise the most high God Jehovah for this miracle! God is so good to us!

Youth Revival!

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! We are so excited to be able to announce that we will definately be having our youth revival on August 28-30, 2008 at 7:00pm every night! Our evangelist is Jeremy Pooler. He is 19, getting married this weekend and is a wonderful preacher! MAD 180 and Praize Beyond Wordz will be ministering along with a youth Praise and Worship Band. We welcome everyone of all ages to attend this great meeting!!

Icard Church of God Block Party

The block party this past Sat. the 19th went GREAT! We had lots of families and they had a great time! Thanks to everyone who worked so hard preparing and those who attended stations! Hopefully we will get to do this again soon!
