This past weekend was INCREDIBLE as we saw a whole new generation of young ON FIRE believers stepping up?and stepping out into the things that the Lord Jesus has commanded in His Word.

Many of these young leaders have ministered with me on the streets in various parts of the Nation, but I still marvel at how God is calling out and raising up such a powerful force for His Glory. These guys are the REAL DEAL.

When you see 4-5 young people kneeling down and praying as a young man who has come out of a night club is convicted of his sins and has crumbled to the sidewalk weeping?then you know something special is happening.

When you see a 20-something year old young woman turn around and refuse to go into a night club because Judah (Pastor Alex?s eight year old son) tells he about Jesus and that she shouldn?t walk in compromise?then you know something special is happening.

When you see young people?going after souls---with an uncompromising message and a passionate determination to see their hearts and lives changed---then you know something is something special is happening.

When you see young leaders ministering to impoverished children in the hood, and people loving on and ministering to the elderly, and giving food to the hungry?then you know something special is happening.

When you see young people standing before their peers and confessing their sins and crying out to Jesus in prayer for revival to come upon this Nation (and then going out and DOING something about it)?then you know something special is happening.

I really want to serve notice to everyone?that God is about to release a whole new generation of SOLD OUT ministers of reconciliation who are steadfast in the Word of God and who walk in holiness and the anointing and power of God.

These young leaders are not of the wishy-washy, hocus-pocus, touchy-feely variety who only get ?hyped-up? for special occasions or to make a show for those around them. This is a group of young people who are laying it all on the line for Christ and have said to the Lord, ?Not my will, but yours be done.?

Something special is happening.

Today we will be heading out to minister to the homeless and tonight we will be out ministering in front of a night club that opens its doors to 13-17 year olds each Monday night. They are conditioning the children for a lifestyle of immorality now so that they can leave them in wreckage later---but we are going to stand in the gap for them. Please keep the team in prayer.

I am giving thanks to God today.  My brother had his surgery and came through great.  I trusted God to bring him through and God did.  I was hoping that my brother would give his heart to God through this experience, unfortunately he did not YET.  However, I do believe God will use this situation for God's glory and my brother's salvation!  I do see a change in his attitude toward me and my mother.  I am so looking forward toward God saving my brother and his future relationship with God!  I am determined to pray and fast for my brother's salvation!  I am going to fight with every weapon that I have available through Jesus Christ, Our Lord.  Please worship and thank God with me, for bringing my brother out of surgery....it really is a great miracle.  Thank you Lord Jesus!

Great is our God!  We are so thankful for the position of Youth Pastors and Music Minister at Icard Church of God!  God has really blessed us with a wonderful opportunity to minister and we are very excited!

I noticed the young man standing there in front of the McDonald?s restaurant as we finished up breakfast that morning. Among the rush of the morning commuters there in the East Village of Manhattan?s Lower East Side, he could have merely blended in---but for some reason I felt compelled to say something to him.

?What?s going on?? I asked. ?Nothing,? he said softly as his dark-circled eyes rose to meet my own. ?Are you hungry?? I asked. ?Sure,? he said with a little more enthusiasm in his voice now. ?Come on in and I?ll get you whatever you want.? I said as I held open the door to the McDonalds where several of our Raven Team members still sat eating breakfast and talking to the people at nearby tables.

The young man, ?Leo?, was a tall, slender young man whose family had come from the Dominican Republic to New York City before he was born 18 years ago. He had a handsome, yet very sad, face and wore a lightweight hooded sweatshirt over his closely cropped hair.

As I carried his tray of breakfast towards the table I asked him, ?Do you use?? Without hesitation he answered, ?I am hooked on heroin.? You could tell that the drug had devastated so much of his life that any semblance of self-respect or pride had long been replaced by the harsh reality of being both homeless and drug addicted.

I invited Pastor Don Eskine over to the table along with another brother in the Lord, because Pastor Don had seen the hand of God deliver him from the same demons over 20 years ago on the streets of New Orleans. Pastor Don shared with him his experiences and the only hope that he found to gain freedom from the snare of the wicked viper of heroin: JESUS.

After breakfast and being ministered to by these men, Leo seemed to not want the moment to end. I asked him, ?Hey, do you want to go and hang out with us today?? ?Sure,? he said almost like he was choosing between a reprieve from the gallows and the certainty of another day of devastation and despair.

JESUS IS THE HOPE OF ALL NATIONS!

As you can read on the prayer page of this site, I had requested prayer for my co-workers husband who was shot in the head.  He was taken to a trauma hospital and listed in critical condition.  Well, I am happy to report that God is soooo merciful.  His condition is 10 times better than it was the day before!!!  My co-worker thanked me and said please continue to pray.  God was merciful to this man.....he responds to my co-worker, talks to her, and is able to move all extremities.  The bullet will be with him forever, unless abcess or infection sets in...then there is a very high risk of him bleeding to death (continue to pray that God will protect him from that)  however, at this point it looks very good for his outcome!  The only effect that we are aware of is that his vision comes and goes....due to the location of the bullet.  God is still a miracle worker.  NOW, please pray for this man's soul.  God has been merciful for some reason....and I believe it is because he needs salvation.  I am very thankful to God for sparing his life and health!!!  This is a prime example of THE MERCY OF GOD!!
